Simon Ricci wins third straight Big Sur title as Big Sur’s Elle Meyer wins women’s race

The first runner has crossed the finish line of the 2026 Big Sur International Marathon.Simon Ricci of San Francisco won the men’s race, earning his third straight Big Sur International Marathon title with an unofficial time of 2:23:47. MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. —

The first runner has crossed the finish line of the 2026 Big Sur International Marathon.

Simon Ricci of San Francisco won the men’s race, earning his third straight Big Sur International Marathon title with an unofficial time of 2:23:47. He is the second person to ever win three straight Big Sur International Marathons.

Big Sur’s Elle Meyer is the women’s winner with an unofficial time of 2:51:43.
