MILLCREEK, Utah (KUTV) — Videos and photos show a mountain lion outside a home along the east bench of Salt Lake County, coming close as if to tap on a window.
The video was captured outside a home Thursday in the Olympus Cove neighborhood of Millcreek.
The cougar was seen on Ring video Tuesday, walking on a rock ledge in a narrow space between a fence and the home. The large cat appeared to be trying to get into the home.

Photos showed the cougar later climbed into a tree hanging over the property.
At one point, the mountain lion appeared to be resting its head on a power line while taking a nap.
Officials from the Utah Division of Natural Resources were called to the home.
Details about what happened to the mountain lion were not clear.
Michael Packer, with the Utah Department of Natural Resources, said warmer weather or non-typical winters can impact wildlife.
“It can deviate or cause them to deviate from their normal patterns to some extent, but more often than not, we will see them still come down in the winters and just follow their food,” Packer said.
