COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. (WINK)—New video shows some nosy neighbors poking around the backyard of a Collier County home.

Chuck Spisak’s cameras captured three bears wandering into his backyard around 3:00 p.m. on Friday. One bear breaks into a storage container looking for a snack, finding mulch instead.

The bear spends several minutes digging through the container until two friends show up. One of the newcomers tried reaching into container, but gets a paw to the face.

“Two more came out and walked right up to him,” Spisak said. “And looks like one smacked one of the others.”

His cameras captured the scene from multiple angles. After a short time, two of the bears walk away, brushing up against one of the cameras. The last bear continues digging through the mulch until it decides to find something else.

The video has gotten thousands of reactions on the WINK News Facebook page

Spisak said lots of animals visit his backyard, including deer, bobcats – and even a panther. But that’s usually at night. Spisak said it’s always great to see the wildlife Southwest Florida has to offer.

“It’s fun” Spisak said. “It’s fun to see.”
