SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Gensler has been picked by an architect firm for the redevelopment project of designing Colfax Corner in downtown South Bend.
The plan will turn the former South Bend Tribune building into a research and innovation hub. The tribune called it home from 1921 until 2019.
Plans also include a new five story research and office building in the city’s growing tech and talent district.
Notre Dame is a key partner, expected to take up about one third of the more than 200,000 square feet.
