Cameron Brink is taking fans behind-the-scenes for her sit-down with Interview Mag.
The Los Angeles Sparks star sat down with the magazine to talk about her life as an WNBA player, the future of the game, and everything in between. Brink shared several clothing changes she went through for the shoot which included a leopard one-piece, a white cropped shirt and feathered skirt combo, a short fur coat and more. She also shared some funny on-set moments while she hung out with the makeup artists and hairstylist, as well as giving fans a close-up on her look. Lastly, in the post, she shared some visuals of the vibrant greenery where she shot some of the photos seen in the feature.
As Brink enters her third year in the WNBA, Interview Magazine asked what is something that people don’t talk about enough when it comes to the league.
“How consistently good our product has been,” Brink said confidently. “It’s still a really young league, and obviously we’re going through our whole battle with the CBA [Collective Bargaining Agreement]. We’re just trying to get paid what we’re worth.”
The WNBA and CBA officially came to an agreement on March 18, 2026.
“I think people are seeing the W as this new and shiny thing, but for two decades the level of play has been so high. I look up to so many women, like Sheryl Swoopes and Lisa Leslie. They’re famous now, but I wish they had that recognition while they were playing,” Brink continued. “It’s funny, when my mom was graduating college, the WNBA wasn’t even a thing. She was juggling this idea of, ‘Should I go play overseas? Should I start a family?’ It’s come so far from her worrying about how she’s going to support herself in a different country. We built this crazy, amazing product.”
Brink was drafted second overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks. While she suffered a torn ACL sustained in June 2024 that caused her to miss part of her rookie and sophomore season in the league, she is ready to be back on the court for her third year. The Sparks first game of the regular season will be on May 10 against the Las Vegas Aces.
