A Mexican national accused of repeatedly returning to the United States after deportation is now facing a new federal charge in Missouri.Victor Rubio-Trejo, 48, was indicted on one count of illegal reentry after authorities say he had previously been removed from the country five times.Rubio-Trejo was arrested April 10 by the St. Joseph Police Department, according to court documents.The following day, investigators with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement identified Rubio-Trejo and took him into federal custody.According to the indictment, immigration records showed Rubio-Trejo had been deported from the U.S. on five separate occasions and also had a prior felony conviction tied to illegal reentry.
