In Wednesday’s loss to the Spurs, Jaden McDaniels led the way for the Timberwolves as he recorded 12 points, three rebounds and four assists while Julius Randle added 12 points and five rebounds of his own.
Now Minnesota will head home for Game 3 on Friday where they will try to grab a victory over the Spurs and take a 2-1 series lead.
On the other side, San Antonio enters Friday’s contest tied with the Timberwolves in the series at 1-1 after defeating Minnesota at home in dominant fashion on Wednesday night in Game 2.

Victor Wembanyama led the way for the Spurs in Wednesday’s victory as he ended the game with 19 points and 15 rebounds while Stephon Castle recorded 21 points, four rebounds and four assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Game 3 on Friday night, one side may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Spurs Injury Report
For the Spurs, they enter Friday’s contest with a healthy roster as they have nobody listed on their injury report.

This is great news for San Antonio as they will try to use this to their advantage to grab a victory on the road in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead.
Timberwolves Injury Report: Will Anthony Edwards, Ayo Dosunmu Play?
On the other side, the Timberwolves have three players listed on their injury report, including both Anthony Edwards and Ayo Dosunmu.

Minnesota has listed Edwards as questionable due to a bone bruise in his left knee, though he has been able to play through the injury in the first two games of the series.

If Edwards is able to play through the injury once again on Friday, the Timberwolves may elect to continue to bring him off the bench and limit his minutes.
The Timberwolves have listed Dosunmu as questionable due to right heel soreness that caused him to exit Game 2 early and he is in danger of missing his second game of the series after missing Game 1 with a calf injury.

If Dosunmu is sidelined, Terrence Shannon Jr., Mike Conley and Bones Hyland could all continue to have increased roles.

Donte DiVincenzo has been ruled out as he will miss the remainder of the season with a torn Achilles.
