Out of all the players in the Manchester United side, I have tended to think Casemiro would be the hardest to replace and it is fortunate for Michael Carrick he did not get injured in February, when it would have been too late to do anything about it.
Strengthening that area of the pitch is United’s number one priority this summer.
It will be interesting to see how Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount cope today as you wouldn’t regard either as a tackler.
