INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — In the third quarter of the Fever’s 2026 season opener, Caitlin Clark became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 1,000 points, 250 rebounds, and 250 assists.
Clark scored 10 points in the third quarter alone in the Fever’s season opener against the Dallas Wings to reach the milestone.
Clark also becomes only the 8th player in WNBA history to reach the accomplishment within 54 career games.
Former Fever star and Hall-of-Famer Tamika Catchings also scored her 1,000th point in her 54th game with the Fever.
