Earlier that morning, Christina Andrew-Barnett and Ronnie Chapman captured photos of the gator in the street by the school.

Just a couple of weeks ago, we shared the story of a massive gator walking a golf course in Sienna.
We’ve been reporting on gator sightings around the Houston area for weeks now. They’re out and about because it’s gator mating season, which runs from March 1 through the end of May. So, keep your eyes peeled and watch your step. They’ll likely be more active for at least the next couple of weeks.
