The month of May continues, which means a plethora of sporting options to suit your viewing tastes.
On the hardwood, the NBA Playoffs continue. Game 4 between the Lakers and Thunder is the only guaranteed game on the live coverage agenda with a bunch of contests that could happen if the second-round series extend.
On the pitch, exciting Premier League matches await, culminating in the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Manchester City.
The NFL schedule will also be unveiled this week, providing an opportunity to set your calendars well in advance of football season. On the course, the second men’s golf major of the season takes place as world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler looks to defend at the PGA Championship.

Here is the full schedule for the week:
Monday
Premier League – Tottenham vs Leeds
Neither Tottenham or Leeds are winning the Premier League this season. In fact, both clubs are still playing to avoid relegation.
Currently, Tottenham sits with 37 points, one clear of West Ham, which are currently in relegation position. Leeds is in a safer spot, sitting on 43 points, seven points clear of the drop zone. As a reminder, the bottom three clubs get relegated to the Championship.
The last time Tottenham was relegated was 1977 – the same year Star Wars was released. It’s been a long time.
Getting a result (a win or a draw) in this fixture would benefit Tottenham from avoiding that relegation reality.
NBA – Lakers vs Thunder Game 4
The second-round series between the Lakers and Thunder marches on with Game 4.
Oklahoma City has an opportunity to sweep Los Angeles and advance to its second consecutive Western Conference finals.
The Lakers need to win to keep their season alive. Should they lose, questions will undoubtedly swirl regarding LeBron James’ future with the team and in the league after playing in his age-41 season.

Tuesday
NBA – 76ers vs Knicks Game 5 (if necessary)
If the Philadelphia 76ers can avoid a sweep Sunday, they will look to send the series back to the “City of Brotherly Love” for Game 6. Should it get to this point, the Knicks will look to advance to their second consecutive Eastern Conference finals on home court.
Wednesday
Premier League – Manchester City vs Crystal Palace
A massive match with big implications as Manchester City looks to keep within striking distance of Arsenal for the EPL title.
Man City beat Brentford with three second-half goals on Saturday, courtesy of Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush.
Depending on how Arsenal does against West Ham, Man City could be either two, three or five points behind first.
A victory against Crystal Palace is pivotal for City to have a chance at its 11th league title.
NBA – Lakers vs Thunder Game 5 (if necessary)
If necessary, the Lakers and Thunder would head back to Oklahoma City for Game 5 to see if the Thunder can close out the series or if the Lakers can send it back to Los Angeles for a Game 6.
Thursday
PGA Championship – Round 1
The second men’s major of the golf calendar gets underway with Round 1 at Aronimink Golf Club.
Scottie Scheffler, the world No. 1 golfer, captured the PGA Championship last year en route to a two-major season. Scheffler can complete the career grand slam next month at the U.S. Open.
Rory McIlroy enters the PGA on a high after winning back-to-back Masters in April.
Will one of these two golfers win the PGA Championship or will a surprise winner hoist the Wanamaker Trophy on Sunday?

NFL schedule release
With the NFL Draft in the rearview mirror, this is the big event for the NFL in the month of May as the league and its teams go all out in revealing the schedule for the 2026 season.
What will be the marquee matchups? Which teams will play on Thanksgiving or Christmas?
That and much more will be revealed during the schedule release.
NBA – Knicks vs 76ers Game 6 (if necessary)
If it gets to this point (a big if), the 76ers will look to force a do-or-die Game 7 on home court against the Knicks. Philadelphia would look to become the fifth team in NBA history to force a Game 7 after being down 3-0.
Friday
PGA Championship – Round 2
The field will get reduced as the top 70 golfers make it to the weekend at the PGA Championship with 36 holes complete.
Saturday
FA Cup final – Chelsea vs Manchester City
A signature FA Cup final takes place with Chelsea facing Manchester City.
Chelsea is looking for its ninth FA Cup while Man City is searching for its eighth.
In 2026, the clubs have faced twice. The first match was a 1-1 draw. The second, taking place at Stamford Bridge, was a dominant 3-0 victory for Man City.
PGA Championship – Round 3
Moving day at the PGA Championship promises to be exciting as golfers jockey for position.
Who will hold the 54-hole lead? Which golfers will be within striking distance to shoot low during the final round?
It’s going to be a fun one at Aronimink regardless.
NBA – Thunder vs Lakers Game 6 (if necessary)
It’s another elimination game from Los Angeles between the Thunder and Lakers should it get to this point.
Should the Lakers get here (a big ask), they have a chance to tie the series at three apiece with a win, which would send a Game 7 back to Oklahoma City.
MVP MMA
A huge night of fights is on tap in MMA.
Ronda Rousey versus Gina Carano. Francis Ngannou against Philipe Lins. Last but certainly not least, Nate Diaz taking on Mike Perry.
It doesn’t get much better than this for a fight night.
Sunday
PGA Championship – Final round
This is it. Sunday at the PGA Championship. A chance for a golfer to win a major championship and hoist the Wanamaker Trophy.
If Masters Sunday was any indication, we are going to be in for a fantastic afternoon of golf to see who captures the second men’s major of 2026.
NBA – 76ers vs Knicks Game 7 (if necessary)
If it gets to this point, then something has gone horribly wrong for the New York Knicks.
Should this series go to a Game 7, NBA history could be made. The Sixers could become the first team ever to rally from a 3-0 deficit to win.
The Knicks would be the first team to blow a 3-0 series deficit and lose the series.
