The Chapel Hill-based property and casualty insurance agency All About Insurance (AAI) was recently awarded the Sapphire Agency Award by Auto-Owners Insurance, recognizing AAI as one of the top three independent agencies in North Carolina for property and casualty growth and performance.

According to an April 30 release by the agency, Auto-Owners formally presented the award at a celebration hosted at All About Insurance’s corporate office in Chapel Hill’s Eastowne office park. Regional and underwriting leadership from Auto-Owners Insurance traveled from Charlotte to present the honor to AAI co-owner Nick Vitali, CEO and co-owner Mark Vitali, and the full AAI team both gathered in the office and joining remotely.

“This award belongs to the entire team,” said Nick Vitali. “From our producers to our service staff to leadership, this is a direct result of the way our people show up for our clients and for each other every day. Being named a top 3 agency in North Carolina is a reflection of consistent growth in a challenging market, strong carrier relationships, and a team that never stops raising its own standard.”

Auto-Owners Insurance works exclusively with independent agents throughout the United States. The Sapphire Award recognizes agencies that demonstrate exceptional growth, disciplined underwriting alignment, and an unwavering commitment to client value.

“We’re grateful to Auto-Owners for the recognition and for being a partner that aligns with how we believe insurance should be done,” said Vitali. “But we’re not slowing down. If anything, this sets the bar higher.”

The recognition comes as All About Insurance continues to expand its footprint across the Triangle and beyond. With office locations in Durham, Raleigh, Hillsborough, Carrboro, Cary, Burlington, Graham, Eden, Madison, and Greensboro, AAI is currently serving more than 37,000 clients. The agency has earned several other awards since being founded more than three decades ago, including three-straight national “Agency of Excellence” awards from the insurance brokerage Leavitt Group.

Editor’s Note: Mark Vitali is a co-owner of the Chapel Hill Media Group, which consists of 97.9 The Hill WCHL and Chapelboro.com. All About Insurance is also an advertiser with the media group. This post was not paid for through their advertising arrangement.
