Man in critical condition after shooting in Market Square

PITTSBURGH — A man is in critical condition after being shot twice in Market Square just after 11 p.m. Monday night.Pittsburgh Public Safety tells Pittsburgh’s Action News Four, an adult male was involved in an altercation with another man, who police believe he knew. Witnesses say the man shot the victim twice in the chest. Officers applied chest seals until medics arrived and rushed the victim to the hospital. He was taken directly into surgery.The Violent Crime Unit detectives are leading this investigation. So far, no arrests have been made. This is a developing story.
