LOVES PARK, Ill. (WIFR) – We now know who the United States will play in the Women’s Baseball World Cup Group Rockford 2026, scheduled for July 22-26 at Rivets Stadium.
The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) revealed the schedule Thursday afternoon. The local stage will feature six of the top women’s baseball teams in the world: United States, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, China, Korea and Mexico.
Wednesday July 22, 2026
11 a.m. – Canada vs. Hong Kong, China
3 p.m. – Australia vs. Mexico
7 p.m. – USA vs. Korea
Thursday July 23, 2026
11 a.m. – Australia vs. Hong Kong, China
3 p.m. – Korea vs. Canada
7 p.m. – Mexico vs. USA
Friday July 24, 2026
11 a.m. – Hong Kong, China vs. Korea
3 p.m. – Mexico vs. Canada
7 p.m. – Australia vs. USA
Saturday July 25, 2026
11 a.m. – Hong Kong, China vs. Mexico
3 p.m. – Korea vs. Australia
7 p.m. – USA vs. Canada
Sunday July 26, 2026
11 a.m. – Korea vs. Mexico
3 p.m. – Canada vs. Australia
7 p.m. – Hong Kong, China vs. USA
A second group stage will be in August in Tainan (TPE). The top three teams from both group stages will advance to the finals, scheduled for July 19-25, 2027 in the Rockford region.
Japan are the defending and seven-time champions while the USA won the World Cup in 2004 and 2006.
