LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County Commissioner Justin Jones joined Boys Town Nevada Wednesday morning at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign to mark Mental Health Action Day, spotlighting the need for mental health support across Southern Nevada.
As part of the ceremony, the iconic landmark was lit green in recognition of mental health awareness and to honor Boys Town Nevada’s more than 35 years of serving local children and families.

Boys Town Nevada said Nevada needs more mental health resources and ranks last in the nation for access to care. The group has helped more than 204,688 children and families in the past five years through counseling, parenting programs, school support, and crisis services.
Boys Town Nevada’s 24/7 hotline and text line handled more than 100,000 calls and texts in 2025, with 55% related to mental health crises.
Brooklyn’s Best Pizza & Pasta also supported the event and the organization’s efforts to provide hope, healing and critical services for Southern Nevada families.
