TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Topeka fire crews responded to the Topeka ER & Hospital on Monday.
According to the hospital, an incident occurred in which helium escaped through the roof vent from an MRI machine.
“There was an escape of helium through the roof vent from the MRI machine. There was no threat to patients or staff safety, and we are operating normally. We appreciate the assistance from the Topeka Fire Department, who responded quickly and verified there was no threat to safety.”
