A bear was captured on camera in Eau Claire today, right outside the public library.
EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) – A bear was captured on camera in Eau Claire today, right outside the public library.
The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library posted this video on its Facebook page Thursday night.
You can see the curious bear getting closer to the building and looking at the window, then it turns, and runs toward the trees.
The library captioning the video as welcome to the li-bear-y!
The Eau Claire Police Department says they know about the sighting and they are encouraging residents to give the animal plenty of space and avoid approaching or interacting with it.
They say local authorities are monitoring the situation.
