WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — For the sixth straight season, Purdue men’s basketball has sold out its season tickets.

The news is unsurprising as the Boilermakers are highly favored to win the national championship this coming season. There also weren’t many new season tickets available, reportedly about 30 seats. Only 12 of the 2,025 active season-ticket accounts did not renew for this year — which is a 99.4 percent renewal rate.

Purdue also has the fourth-longest streak in the nation for selling out individual games. Behind only Kansas, Duke and Gonzaga, the Boilers have sold out 89 games in a row dating back to January 2019.

Purdue’s season begins Tuesday, Nov. 4 against Evansville. The Boilers then host Oakland that Friday before traveling to Tuscaloosa to face a perennially tough Alabama team on Thursday, Nov. 13. The Boilers’ Big Ten schedule is still to be announced.

Last season, Purdue lost to Houston in the Sweet 16. The Boilers finished 24-12 overall, winning 13 of 20 conference games. They entered the Big Ten Tournament as the sixth seed after being in a three-way tie for fourth place based on the standings at the end of the regular season. In the tournament, Purdue beat new Big Ten addition USC before losing to Michigan in the quarterfinals.

The Hayes Family Purdue Athletics ticket office will still have single-game tickets available for the the 2025-26 season. Those go on sale in October, becoming first available to members of the John Purdue Club and then being open to the general public.
