A reported burglary at a home led to a large police presence in Apex early Memorial Day morning.
Apex Police were called to a home on Sunflower Road related to a break-in. After several minutes, Wake County deputies and a medic unit were also requested to the scene. Several emergency response vehicles lined the street outside a townhome. At least one witness reported a person in handcuffs.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker was on the scene. Police said no one was hurt and a person of interest was being questioned.
