A report from the New York State Department of Health showed that Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing has well over the average number of citations compared to the other facilities in the state. According to the Department of Health, Van Duyn has 56 standard health citations compared to the statewide average of just 19.
One former employee told CNY Central, “The level of hell that is present at Van Duyn at any given day, Dante’s Inferno doesn’t even begin to describe.”
