Von Miller Vs. Chris Braswell
May 30th, 2026

Are the Bucs all-in to win a Super Bowl this season?

Joe knows there are high hopes at One Buc Palace and a strong majority of Bucs fans, when last surveyed, believe the Bucs will have a winning season. But how committed is the organzation to winning now?

It’s a safe bet that legendary edge rusher Von Miller, who played 17 games and had 9 sacks in a part-time role last season, is a more valuable player than third-year Bucs edge rusher Chris Braswell.

Miller has been public about wanting to continue his Hall of Fame career. He had a $6 million salary with Washington last season plus incentives. Perhaps he would work for less at 37 years old?

Miller has a passion for mentoring young players. He talked about that on SiriusXM NFL Radio during Super Bowl week, and the Bucs have rookie edge rusher Rueben Bain, 2025 rookie David Walker coming back from injury and fourth-year man YaYa Diaby. Not only is it a very safe bet that Miller could help their growth, Miller has walked the walk when it comes to developing pass rushers, via his summer Sack Summit and on teams.

Bucs sacks king Shaq Barrett gives Miller a heck of a reference.

Joe sees Miller as a win-now move for Tampa Bay. Maybe the Bucs have reached out? Maybe Miller doesn’t like Florida? Maybe the Bucs prefer Al-Quadin Muhammad? Maybe, maybe, maybe.

Still, Joe keeps thinking about Braswell vs. Miller.
