(NewsNation) — Social Security recipients will see the calendar turn to June with three scheduled payments from the Social Security Administration.
The checks, paid primarily to older or retired recipients, are sent out on Wednesdays.
The SSA says a June payment reflects Social Security retirement benefits for May, while June benefits are paid in July.

June Social Security payment schedule
To track payments, recipients can view the agency’s retirement benefit schedule for 2026 and 2027.
Payments are staggered by birth date:
June 10: Birth dates between the 1st and 10th
June 17: Birth dates between the 11th and 20th
June 24: Birth dates between the 21st and 31st
Those receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) will get one payment June 1.
Unlike June, SSI recipients will receive two payments in July, on July 1 and July 31.

If a payment is missing, the SSA recommends contacting your bank or financial institution first to check for delays. If there is no delay, recipients can call 1-800-772-1213 or contact their local Social Security office.
