A 15-year-old was found dead in front of a house in New Caney on Saturday night, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office responded around 11:30 p.m. to a 911 call from a homeowner in the 20700 block of Stevens Road who told police they found the body of a deceased teenager in front of their house upon returning home, officials said on Facebook.
The teenager had been shot. Patrol deputies performed lifesaving measures but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office post.
Sheriff’s office major crimes detectives and crime scene investigators responded to the scene and an investigation was ongoing Monday morning.
