MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A Madison-based dance company performed on America’s Got Talent.
Semi-professional dance crew, Barrio Dance Factory, auditioned on season 21’s premiere in front of AGT judges.
“We’re really excited to showcase our team and to put Madison on the map,” said AJ Juarez, director and founder of Barrio Dance. “That’s something we’ve been working for so many years and finally we have the opportunity to show not just Madison but the entire United States and hopefully the world who we are – Barrio Dance and our company.”
Barrio Dance will compete at the World of Dance Summit in Anaheim, California next month.
“We’ve just had a really crazy season with a lot of unexpected but really incredible opportunities, such as America’s Got Talent,” said Nicole Juarez, assistant director of Barrio Dance Factory.
