Vehicle pursuit ends after suspect crashes into tree near Lakewood Blvd in East Naples, deputies say
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. —
A suspect was taken into custody after crashing into a tree near Lakewood Boulevard and Boca Ciega Drive in East Naples, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to CCSO, the suspect was wanted for multiple violent felonies out of Lee County, and CCSO helped track him to East Naples after he fled from an earlier attempted stop.
The suspect crashed into a tree and fled on foot. He has been taken into CCSO custody for eluding law enforcement, deputies said.
