TAKE A LOOK AT THIS MAP AS WE KIND OF CENTER IT UP FOR YOU HERE. THERE’S A POWER OUTAGE AND IT IS IMPACTING JUST OVER 14,000 CUSTOMERS RIGHT NOW IN GRASS VALLEY AND NEVADA CITY. SO THIS IS THE PG&E OUTAGE MAP THAT WE WERE ABLE TO PULL OUT. AS WE ZOOM IN, YOU CAN SEE THE EXTENT OF THE OUTAGE. THE UTILITY SAYS THAT ITS CREWS ARE OUT WORKING TO RESTORE POWER. AT THIS POINT. WE ARE ALSO TRYING TO LEARN WHAT THE CAUSE OF THE POWER IS. LIKE WE’VE HEARD BEFORE, THERE IS NO WIND, SO SOME OTHER SOURCE THAT PERHAPS CAUSED THIS OUTAGE TO TO BE A PROBLEM. SO W

A power outage has left over 14,000 customers without electricity in Nevada County, according to PG&E’s outage map.
The outage has affected 14,126 customers in Grass Valley and Nevada City. PG&E said the outage was reported before 6 p.m.
The utility company says crews are working to restore power. PG&E said the estimated restoration time is 12:45 a.m.
