Just a week ago, CBS revealed all of its broadcast crews for this fall. Unsurprisingly, Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson will continue to call the top NFL games for the network. They’ll cover an NFC North showdown between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers during Week 1.
The No. 2 team for CBS will feature Ian Eagle, J.J. Watt and Evan Washburn. There’ll be plenty of people eager to see how Watt performs in the booth.
Although they won’t get to cover the top games, the No. 3 crew of Kevin Harlan, Trent Green and Melanie Collins has become a fan favorite over the past few years. It’ll be fun to see what they have in store for fans this September.

Judging by the reactions on social media, NFL fans are glad Barber is out of the picture at CBS.
“Thank God Tiki Barber is gone
“Tiki bias towards the Jags shines through anytime he talks or covers anything he does having to do with us,” another fan wrote.
“Thank you CBS Sports for getting rid of the horrendous Tiki Barber,” a third fan said.

“That’s a shame. Not. Won’t miss him at all,” a social media user wrote.
Despite losing his gig at CBS, Barber will be busy this season. It was recently announced that he’ll play a role in the radio broadcasts for the Giants.
“I am really excited to be joining the Giants gameday radio broadcast team on WFAN. This organization has meant so much to me, professionally and personally,” Barber said. “The Giants have a long history of legendary broadcasters and Wellington Mara always told them to call it like they see it because our fans know better. I look forward to providing analysis and insight that Giants fans appreciate.”
