Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark may be dealing with a lingering back injury, but that didn’t prevent her from delivering an exciting performance against Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream on Thursday night.
Coming off a poor six-point showing against the Portland Fire last time out, Clark bounced back in a big way to lead the Fever to an 83-71 win. She finished with 17 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and one block.

Clark’s playmaking allowed the Fever to thrive offensively, with Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston combining for 44 points.
The All-Star guard also had one of the best highlights of the contest. Midway through the third quarter, with the Fever leading by only one point at 44-43, Clark gave Indiana the momentum it needed with a nasty triple that had the home fans roaring.

Clark first shook off Allisha Gray with a behind-the-back dribble. After freeing herself up, she took a sidestep before launching the ball from 25 feet and draining the insane triple.

“@caitlinclark22 for threeee,” the Fever wrote in the caption of their post.
The play quickly drew plenty of attention, with one amazed fan writing, “My Goodness that was FILTHY Caitlin.”
“She makes it look so easy. I’d trip over my own feet,” a commenter added. Another one said, “This was cash.”
“She’s way too cold,” a supporter shared.
A fifth viewer exclaimed, “That was nasty.”
“Booooom,” an excited follower stated.
There have been plenty of concerns about Clark’s play following the team’s recent poor run of form. However, the 24-year-old sharpshooter showed everyone that there’s nothing to worry about when it comes to her and the Fever.

Indiana improved to 5-4 on the season with the win against the Dream.
