Following three years as Program Director of Cumulus Media adult contemporary “Warm 98.5” WRRM Cincinnati, Josh Wolff has been named Brand Manager for Audacy Pittsburgh’s country “Y108” WDSY, hot AC “100.7 Star” WBZZ and urban contemporary WAMO (660 AM and W297BU 107.3 FM). Wolff succeeds Mark Anderson, who exited the company earlier this week.
For Wolff, the move marks a return to Pittsburgh and to the cluster, where he interned when the stations were owned by CBS Radio.
“I think you all will appreciate Josh’s demeanor and care for these brands,” Audacy Regional VP Michael Spacciapolli says. “Josh is originally a Pittsburgher, he graduated from Fox Chapel High School before going to Syracuse University, where he still serves on two boards for the college station there. Please join me in congratulating Josh and welcome him to our group.”
Prior to programming WRRM, Wolff spent 12 years with iHeartMedia, where he was Senior VP of Programming for stations in Allentown and Lancaster, PA, Wilmington, DE and Salisbury-Ocean City, MD, and PD of CHR “B104” WAEB-FM Allentown. He also served as APD/Marketing Director for adult hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT and AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ Phoenix and APD/Digital PD of hot AC “Alice 95.5” KTOZ and AC KGBX (105.9) Springfield, MO.
Wolff has also worked in Atlanta, Greenville, SC and Binghamton, NY, after starting at Syracuse University’s “Z89” WJPZ.
