The weekend has arrived at Jack’s Place.
The third round of the 2026 Memorial Tournament is underway at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, as the 53 players left standing after Friday’s cut compete for a $4 million check, 700 FedEx Cup points and perhaps most prestigious, a handshake from the event’s legendary host, Jack Nicklaus. J.T. Poston enters Saturday with a one-shot lead, but there are several heavy hitters looking to chase him down, including Tommy Fleetwood, J.J. Spaun, Xander Schauffele and more.

Final pairing tees off for third round at Memorial
After a long wait due to the weather delay, the final pairing of J.T. Poston and Ryan Gerard has teed off and the third round of the Memorial Tournament is fully underway. Both players made par at No. 1, and Poston maintains his one-shot advantage.

Scottie Scheffler surges on front nine Saturday
Scottie Scheffler opened his third round with a bogey at No. 1 to drop to 2 over. He then proceeded to make back-to-back birdies at holes 5 and 6 before making eagle at the par-5 7th. And just like that, the world’s best player has moved into a tie for sixth on the leaderboard.

Rory McIlroy moves into the top 10
Rory McIlroy started his day with two birdies in the first four holes and has moved into the top 10 at 1 under for the tournament.

The horn blew at 11:16 a.m., signifying a stoppage of play at the Memorial. Players headed back to the locker room. But play is scheduled to restart at 1 p.m.

Who’s leading the Memorial Tournament?
As of Saturday morning, that would be J.T. Poston, who’s posted scores of 70 and 65 and has it to 9 under through 36 holes. He leads by one over Ryan Gerard, while Same Burns is solo third at 6 under, Tommy Fleetwood is solo fourth at 4 under and Eric Cole is solo fifth at 3 under.
Si Woo Kim starts strong on Saturday
After struggling through a 76 on Friday, Si Woo Kim seems to have found something on Saturday as he opened play with birdies on three of his first seven holes to get back into the top 25 as of 1:35 p.m.
What about Scottie Scheffler?
Scheffler ground out another made cut, this one being his 76th straight. He joked afterwards he thought at one point he’d shoot 90, but he shot 72 and is at 1 over, 10 shots back of the head but playing another weekend on the PGA Tour.

Which big names missed the cut?
Rickie Fowler had another stinker week tournament, shooting 79-82 to finish 17 over in two days. This on the heels of a missed cut at the Charles Schwab Challenge and a T60 at the PGA Championship. How much money is on the line at the Memorial?
The Memorial is one of the three “player-hosted” signature events. Like all of the sigs, there’s a $20 million prize fund, but at the three players-hosted events, they set aside $4 million for the winner.

Where do they play the Memorial Tournament?
Muirfield Village Golf Club is the host once again. Known as Jack’s Place, the course opened on May 27, 1974. The course will play as a par 72 and measure 7,569 yards. It is tied for ninth in the brand-new, just-released Golfweek’s Best top 200 modern golf courses in the U.S., ranked for 2026 list, which was unveiled on Monday, June 1. It’s ranked No. 1 on the Golfweek’s Best: Top private golf courses in Ohio list.
