BRANSON, Mo. (KY3) -A free stargazing event set for Friday night has been postponed to June 13.
The star party, hosted by Springfield Astronomical Society and Ozark Mountain Adventure, is inviting you to explore the wonders of the night sky. The event will be held at 1720 Sunset Inn Rd in Branson at 8 p.m.
If you do get a chance to see the night sky this weekend, there’s a unique event you could see.
“It’s kind of a broad-based stargazing event where we are looking at. Right now in the west we have a really great coming together of Jupiter and Venus, as well as Castor and Pollux, two other stars. They’re forming; they’re getting very tight. That’s one kind of event that people are looking for.” said Lane Pierce, Springfield Astronomical Society Secretary.
