A new report went up this week detailing The Pokemon Company’s latest financial results, and once again, records were achieved across the board.
For net sales, The Pokemon Company recorded 531 billion yen for more than a 29 percent year-on-year increase. Operating profit came in at 144 billion yen, which was a 43 percent jump. Finally, net profit came in at 120 billion yen for a big 70 percent spike.
What did The Pokemon Company come out with last year? On the video game front, we did see Pokemon Legends: Z-A. That game has sold close to 13 million copies. Pokemon Pokopia and Pokemon FireRed / LeafGreen are not accounted for as the financial period ended on February 28, 2026.
While we don’t really cover it here as it’s not a fit for our audience, the Pokemon Trading Card Game is also a massive sales driver. The cards are always in high demand and quickly sell out.
Looking at the future, we do know that Pokemon Winds and Waves are set to launch sometime in 2027. However, the games are unlikely to factor into The Pokemon Company’s next financial report for the fiscal year.
Nintendo reported its own financial results last month. You can get caught up on all of the details from that report here.
