In tonight’s episode, Abhira’s concerns about Maira’s allergy escalate into a heated confrontation with Armaan, whom she accuses of hypocrisy. However, things take a more emotional turn when Maira innocently reveals that she views Geetanjali as her mother, further wounding Abhira’s heart.
The episode kicks off with Armaan reassuring Abhira that her love alone is enough to win Maira’s heart. However, Abhira firmly requests him to step back, revealing she has only a month to prove herself. Armaan’s curiosity is piqued, wondering what Abhira means by this time constraint.
The scene flashes back to a few moments earlier, where Armaan rushes to Maira’s side, his face etched with worry. The doctor reassures him that Maira is now out of danger. Armaan’s concern shifts to specifics, and he asks Abhira if Maira had eaten walnuts, a hint of accusation in his tone. Abhira’s expression turns defensive as she reveals she was completely unaware of Maira’s allergy. Her voice laced with a mix of guilt and frustration, she questions Armaan about why he hadn’t packed Maira’s medicines, implying that he should have been more prepared.
Abhira’s self-doubt surfaces as she wonders aloud what kind of mother she is, feeling inadequate in her role. The doctor, attempting to offer some comfort, mentions that it’s common for kids to fall ill occasionally. However, Abhira’s emotional turmoil boils over, and she lashes out at the doctor, her anger fueled by her feelings of guilt and inadequacy. She reacts harshly to the doctor’s attempt to calm her down, telling her to behave normally, which only adds to Abhira’s frustration.
Armaan is haunted by memories of forbidding Abhira from caring for Maira, now regretting his past decisions.
Krish attempts to bribe the contractors, and Abhir offers to help him. However, Krish’s demeanor turns cold, and he brings up Abhir’s past mistakes, reminding him that his actions left Kiara heartbroken and led to Charu’s tragic demise. Abhir tries to win Krish’s trust by suggesting he mend his relationship with Tanya, advising Krish to have an open conversation with her.
Armaan attempts to calm Abhira down, but she misinterprets his intentions, accusing him of trying to drive a wedge between her and Maira. The conversation escalates into a heated argument as Armaan tries to reassure her. Maira, fed up with the tension, intervenes and orders both Armaan and Abhira to leave the room.
Krish attempts to make amends with Tanya, and Abhir discreetly informs Kiara that they’re at a restaurant. Kiara expresses willingness to talk to Tanya once she returns home. Meanwhile, Krish apologizes to Tanya, shifting the blame to Sanjay for his influence. Tanya firmly tells Krish to take responsibility for his actions, emphasizing that as an adult, he knows right from wrong and can’t blame others. Just as Krish tries to explain himself further, Anshuman appears, furious that Tanya is speaking to Krish. He berates Tanya, and Abhir steps in, advising Krish to leave the situation.
Anshuman confronts Tanya, questioning her decision to meet Krish, and warns her that he’s toxic and unworthy of a second chance.
Abhira lashes out at Armaan, pointing out his hypocrisy. She reminds him that while he’s now asking her to feed Maira healthy food, he himself doesn’t set a good example by letting Maira watch TV too closely and indulging her with ice cream. Abhira’s frustration stems from Armaan’s earlier strictness when Maira was his responsibility, contrasting sharply with his current leniency.
Abhira receives news about her shipment, while Armaan discovers she’s rented a pricey car for Maira’s sake. He urges Abhira to return it, but she stands firm, determined to fulfill Maira’s wishes. Armaan cautions Abhira against overexerting herself for Maira, warning her not to follow in his footsteps. Despite this, he acknowledges Abhira’s perfection, suggesting she doesn’t need to prove herself further.
Abhira shoots back, saying if she were perfect, Armaan wouldn’t have left her. The argument escalates, with Abhira revealing the one-month challenge Geetanjali has set for her to win Maira over. She firmly tells Armaan to stay out of it, determined to prove herself without his interference.
Armaan confronts Geetanjali about the challenge, but she remains unapologetic, claiming she’s simply allowing Maira to decide who makes her happiest. Meanwhile, Geetanjali has a private conversation with Maira, but their secret chat is abruptly interrupted by Abhira’s arrival.
Maira’s words cut deep as she tells Abhira that she only considers Geetanjali her mother. Abhira hides her pain behind a mask of happiness, choosing to settle for being Maira’s friend instead. Meanwhile, Abhir becomes emotional, nostalgic thoughts of Charu flooding his mind. As Raksha Bandhan approaches, Maira learns about the festival and expresses a desire for a brother. Abhira gently introduces her to Daksh, and Maira’s face lights up as she prepares a rakhi for her new sibling. Abhira can’t help but wonder if Maira will eventually accept her as a mother figure, just like she’s accepted other family members.
