Wayne/Pike Farm Bureau recently donated this year’s FARM-tastic book, “My Grandpa, My Tree and Me” to all public libraries and elementary schools in Wayne and Pike counties. Written by Roxanne Troup with illustrations by Kendra Birney, the book tells the story of a loving grandfather who planted a pecan tree on the day his granddaughter was born. The story follows the pair as they tend the tree together.
