OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – A post on the Facebook page for “SS United States-America’s Superliner” from Thursday, June 11th says a document formalizing the county’s obligations and funding commitments will be presented at the Okaloosa County Board of Commissioners Meeting, Tuesday, June 16th.

This evening (June 11th), Okaloosa County posted the finalized Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Florida State Historic Preservation Office.
This document formalizes the County’s obligations and funding commitments required to secure the final reefing permit.
The document will be presented at the upcoming Okaloosa County Board of Commissioners Meeting on June 16, 2026.
