The 2026 World Cup continues with four matchups on Saturday, including an intriguing Group C encounter between Brazil and Morocco.
Brazil is hoping to make a deep run after reaching the quarterfinals in four of the past five World Cups and reaching the semifinal in 2014. Morocco is coming off a Cinderella run in 2022 when they won their group and knocked out Spain and Portugal before falling to France in the semifinals.

Scotland is also in action today as it will face Haiti, while the USMNT‘s next two opponents, Australia and Türkiye, face off in the final match of the day.
Switzerland and Qatar kicked off Saturday’s action and the Swiss dominated the match in almost every way, but they were forced to settle for a draw after a last-gasp goal from Qatar’s Boualem Khoukhi. The Canadians scored on a penalty kick by Breel Embolo in the 17th minute and had 23 shots (seven on goal) in the game, but they’ll only get one point for Saturday’s outing after the dramatic finish.

What a counter by Morocco. As Brazil was looking better, Morocco just slices through the middle of Brazil’s midfield and defense after regaining possession in its own half with a great pass from Brahim Diaz and Ismail Saibari dips in a lovely goal over Alisson.

Morocco has dominated the opening minutes and had a great chance off a cross from Noussair Mazraoui in the sixth minute. But Neil El Aynaoui’s shot was blocked by Guimarães with Alisson not in a position to make the save.
Just a minute later, a diagonal shot to the far post from Achraf Hakimi went wide of the Brazil net.
