LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A small town community in Dauphin County is coming together to commemorate the United State’s 250th birthday through art.
That art — a mural being painted on the pump house building on the southern edge of Riverfront Park in Millersburg.
Ted Book, an art teacher at Millersburg Area High School, has designed the commemorative piece that features patriotism and history.
The mural will include a flag for the background, and the foreground will include numerous people who were influential in the development of the U.S. facing the flag.

Book said his intent is to show the nation’s flag represents all who have been involved in creating America, as well as those who still have the opportunity to impact this country we call home.
