Moving Day has arrived at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship with the second round concluding before the third round gets underway with Tommy Fleetwood atop the leaderboard. Holding a four-shot clubhouse lead on Collin Morikawa and Akshay Bhatia with Justin Rose at their side having two holes to finish before Saturday’s round gets underway, Fleetwood sits in pole position while seeking his first career PGA Tour victory.
Given 69 of the top 70 golfers on the PGA Tour are competing at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee, there will be plenty of competition for Fleetwood through the final 36 holes. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will open his Round 3 trying to shorten a seven-stroke deficit, but as fans and his peers have seen time and again, it does not take much for Scheffler to make weekend runs, especially when those ahead of him come back to the rest of the field. With golfers not only competing for a spot in the winner’s circle but qualification for the second leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs at the BMW Championship, the action should be furious on Saturday.
