The disturbance is moving slowly northeast at 6 mph.Potential Tropical Cyclone One only has a small window Wednesday to strengthen over the warm Gulf sea surface temperatures before pushing over land. If the storm reaches sustained winds at 39 mph and a well-defined center of circulation, this system would become the first named storm of the season. The first name on the list is Arthur.
