Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Rod Wave is set to perform in Sacramento as part of an upcoming nationwide tour. The rapper and singer is bringing his “Don’t Look Down Tour” to Golden 1 Center on Oct. 8. Singer and rapper Fridayy is scheduled as the opening act for the entire 25-city tour. The upcoming tour will support Rod Wave’s recently announced album, “Don’t Look Down,” which is set to be released on Aug. 28. The album follows his 2024 project “Last Lap.” Tickets go on sale on June 26 at 1 p.m. Rod Wave last performed in Sacramento at Golden 1 Center in January 2025. That concert was postponed from a October 2024 date following a late opening and disturbance in the Downtown Commons area that led to three people being injured and law enforcement clearing the area. The rapper and singer is bringing his “Don’t Look Down Tour” to Golden 1 Center on Oct. 8. Singer and rapper Fridayy is scheduled as the opening act for the entire 25-city tour.
