Two tornadoes were confirmed in Vermont on Thursday, one in Woodstock and one in Lincoln.NBC5 meteorologists first confirmed the Woodstock tornado, after a Thursday afternoon survey which included extensive aerial imagery above Woodstock. Several meteorologists and storm chasers arrived at that location by late Thursday afternoon.The National Weather Service conducted an extensive storm survey in multiple spots on Friday, locating the second tornado in Lincoln, and finalizing all of the strength details.A rotation signature was visible on four radars above Woodstock as the storm moved through around 2:35 p.m. Aerial video from the area showed trees sheared off, consistent with tornadic damage.
