Wyndham Clark used a lethal combination of patience and precision to become a par-putting machine during his third round at Shinnecock Hills. He carded an even-par 70 to stay at 7 under yet extend his lead to six shots over a four players entering Sunday’s final round.
Is Clark becoming a two-time U.S. Open champ a foregone conclusion? Not if world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has anything to say about it. Scheffler, on his 30th birthday, with an eye on the career Grand Slam, will join Clark in the final pairing.
“Live From the U.S. Open” kicks of Sunday coverage from 7-9 a.m. ET on Golf Channel. USA Sports will have live action beginning at 9 a.m., with NBC/Peacock going from noon-7 p.m. ET. “Live From” will return to wrap up the final round after play concludes.
