IRWINDALE – One person is dead and others are injured after an eastbound semi crashed through the median and struck several vehicles in westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway Saturday morning.
A Sigalert has been issued by the California Highway Patrol on the westbound side for all westbound lanes. The same applies for the HOV and No. 1 and 2 lanes going eastbound.
Westbound. Traffic is being diverted to Irwindale Avenue, according to the CHP.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics declared one person deceased at 9:11 a.m. Two other patients are listed in critical condition and up to six children have been injured, according to preliminary information from county fire.
