CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Charlotte Hornets only have two picks in the 2026 NBA Draft, but both of them are inside the Top 20.
The Hornets are set to make their first selection at No. 14 overall, the draft’s final lottery pick, and their second at No. 18 overall. Charlotte does not have a second-round pick.
Head coach Charles Lee and company put together the franchise’s most successful season in a decade in 2025-26, despite coming up one win short of the the team’s first playoff appearance since 2015-16.
In 2025, Charlotte drafted Kon Knueppel at No. 4 overall from Duke, Liam McNeely from Connecticut at No. 29 overall via a trade with Phoenix, Sion James at No. 33 overall from Duke and Ryan Kalkbrenner at No. 4 overall from Creighton.
The two-day 2026 NBA Draft starts at 8 p.m. EST at the Barclays Center in New York.
