MANCHESTER, N.H. —

New Hampshire native Bode Miller was arrested on June 6 in Idaho, according to court documents obtained by WMUR.

Miller, who is from Franconia, faces two misdemeanor charges: one for possession of a controlled substance and one for use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

Court documents say a Fremont County sheriff’s deputy found Miller with a white bag containing about 4 grams of psychedelic mushrooms.

He posted $5,000 cash bond after his arrest and was released.

He later pleaded not guilty to each charge.

According to court paperwork, Miller’s case has a pre-trial hearing on July 29.

Miller, a six-time Olympic medalist, is the most decorated male alpine skier in American history. He was inducted into the United States Olympic and Paralympic Hall of Fame last year.

Miller now lives in Montana with his wife and children. He maintains ties to the Granite State through several nonprofits organizations.
