The summer dead period in recruiting is upon us. It’s the last pause in total football operations before fall camp fires up under the hot August sun.

For Mike Elko, general manager Derek Miller and the rest of Texas A&M’s staff, this isn’t the time for rest quite yet.

There are still some rather important deals to close on the trail as the Aggies continue to add stars to an already sterling recruiting class.
