MILWAUKEE, Wis. — With his first lottery picks as the Milwaukee Bucks General Manager, Jon Horst had to hit it out of the park. With Giannis gone, the rebuild starts now.
His first move was buying high on Brayden Burries with the tenth overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. The guard who led Arizona to the Final Four is a certified scorer, cool as a cucumber, a great defender, and most of all, willing to admit where he needs to grow his game.
“The strength I bring is just being able to impact the game when it comes to winning. Outside of just scoring, you know, defending, rebounding and playmaking and just trying to be a good person off the bench. Even when I’m not playing, something I want to work on is just building better relationships with my future teammates,” Burries said.
