Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting the took place in Fairview on Sunday evening.According to CPD, officers responded to the scene near the intersection of Halstead Steet and Kottmann Avenue at approximately 6:16 p.m. Upon arrival, a male victim was said to have been transported from the scene to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. CPD says that dispatchers initially informed first responders that the incident involved a vehicle crash, but that this was later “upgraded” to a shooting report as more details on the ground became apparent.
