Bob’s gameplay trailer has been revealed at Evo 2026. Just like in previous games after Bob fattened up, his playstyle emphasizes both speed and weight.
During the intro, Bob rides in with a skateboard. Curiously, Bob was not shown incorporating the skateboard into his moveset during any segments of the trailer.
To help Bob with his particularly large hurtbox, the character has a few attacks that allow him to take attacks with his oversized belly. If the opponent attacks Bob while this property is in effect, their attempt will simply bounce off of him, leaving the enemy open for an easy counterattack.
Funnily enough, Bob’s intro with Kazuya showcases this mechanic at the start. Kazuya attempts to punch Bob as he rides in with his skateboard, but he’s able to fully deflect the attack with his gut.
Near the end of the trailer, we get a sneak peek at Roger Jr., the next character slated to be released for the Season 3 Pass after Bob. The full trailer for Roger Jr. will be released at Evo France 2026 on October 11, 2026.
Bob is due to be released on August 24, 2026. Those with the Season 3 Pass will benefit from the early access perk, unlocking him five days earlier on August 19, 2026.
