An 18-year-old man was stabbed to death Sunday night on Fulton Avenue in Hempstead, Nassau police said.
Officers responded to a call at 9:25 p.m. and found the man had suffered “puncture wounds to the torso,” according to a police news release.
The man, who police did not identify, was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police made no mention of a suspect or a motive in the incident; they said an investigation is ongoing.
Photos from the scene of the stabbing showed a collision between two cars. It was not clear whether the crash was related to the stabbing.
